2449698 - Parameters of Oracle external tables should have distinct physical options - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Oracle external tables are created using the SQL CREATE TABLE...ORGANIZATION EXTERNAL statement.
  • The Physical Options (Common) tab lists the most commonly-used physical options as a standard property sheet tab.
  • There is only a (Physical Option) field named PhysicalPropertiesOrganizationExternalExternalTableClause available to enter the complete Oracle external table loader statements.
  • The External Table field is editable, but no separate items are provided for modeling purposes.
