When an employee is fired and rehired again at the same payroll period, there is a specific process that needs to be followed for Payroll Colombia, according to the following scenarios:
- Rehire after at least one day of his termination. This case happens when the employee stays 1 day or more outside the company before being rehired.
- Rehire of the employee on the very next day after his termination. In this case there are no days between the employee’s termination and rehire, so the employee works all days (for settlement reasons).
