2449943 - Missing Distribution Channels In Follow-Up Sales Order

Symptom

You've create a Sales Order from the Sales Orders facet in a Visit and the field Distribution Channel was left in blank, even though the Visit has a Distribution Channel maintained.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Visitis Work Center -> Visits View;
  2. Open Visit XYZ (XYZ represents the Visit ID);
  3. Go to Sales Orders tab;
  4. Press New;
  5. Save and Open the new Sales Orders;
  6. You've noticed that the Distribution Channels in the Sales Orders is left blank, even thoght the Visit has one maintained.

Cause

The Sales Organization was added manually to the Visit.


Manual changes block a re-determination, so the Sales Order will not have automatic determination.
If you had a Visit without manual change of the Sales Org a re-determination would be triggered and find the Distribution Channel.
