2449987 - 'Secondary Instructor' launches VLS as 'Primary Instructor'

• 'Secondary Instructor' launches VLS session and shows up as 'Primary Instructor'.
• 'Primary Instructor' appears twice in 'Hosts'.

1. Navigate to Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Classes >
2. Create a new VLS class >
3. Configure the class agenda as per business needs >
4. When editing the time slot, add two instructors and set one of them as 'Primary' >
5. Launch the VLS class as 'Secondary Instructor' and see that the host is listed as the 'Primary Instructor'.

• When using WebEx, the primary instructor may appear twice under 'Hosts'.
• When using Zoom, the session will show primary instructor profile details instead of secondary instructor.

This happens because these applications don't have a concept of Secondary Instructor. When a session is launched, the VLS Server API is called using admin credentials on behalf of the Learning Instructor.

• This is the expected behavior until the 1H2025 release.
• On 2H2025 major release the system behavior will be enhanced to display the secondary instructor's name as the host, providing a consistent experience with primary instructor.
• This enhancement will apply for MS Teams, Zoom and Webex (Adobe Connect will not support this functionality as secondary instructors are not allowed on this VLS connection).
