2449987 - 'Secondary Instructor' launches VLS as 'Primary Instructor'

• 'Secondary Instructor' launches VLS session and shows up as 'Primary Instructor'.
• 'Primary Instructor' appears twice in 'Hosts'.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Navigate to Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Classes >
2. Create a new VLS class >
3. Configure the class agenda as per business needs >
4. When editing the time slot, add two instructors and set one of them as 'Primary' >
5. Launch the VLS class as 'Secondary Instructor' and see that the host is listed as the 'Primary Instructor'.

When using WebEx, the primary instructor may appear twice under 'Hosts'.

When using Zoom, the session will show primary instructor profile details instead of secondary instructor.

This happens because these applications don't have a concept of Secondary Instructor. When a session is launched, the VLS Server API is called using admin credentials on behalf of the Learning Instructor.

This is the expected behavior and the product is working as designed. An enhancement request to allow Learning to have multiple instructors has been submitted and if you wish to track the status you can follow it here.
