2450005 - Error: 417 Could not download configuration file: 407 - authenticationrequired when adding subaccount to SAP Cloud Connector

Symptom

When adding an SAP Cloud Platform subaccount to SAP Cloud Connector, the following error is displayed on screen:

"417 Could not download configuration file: 407 - authenticationrequired"

Environment

SAP Cloud Connector(SCC) release independent.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to SAP Cloud Connector Web UI page;

  2. Enter parameters to add a subaccount;

  3. Error is displayed:

Cause

The error is occurring due to proxy setup on the Cloud Connector settings.

Resolution

Enter the correct proxy Host, Port, Username and Password on the SCC proxy settings, as per below image.


       

       

     

PS: Depending on how the proxy server is set up, it doesn't require authentication (Username and Password), and in this case only Proxy Host and Port would be sufficient.
