2450672 - Proxy connection hangs when connecting to Repository – SAP PD

Symptom

  • Connection via Proxy to Repository hangs and does not connect.
  • ODBC Data Source configured correctly.
  • Instance created in proxy server configured, but it shows password in blank (even when the user added the password).
  • From proxy log we can see the following messages:

debug   - Respond(22): code 101
error   - Respond(22): error code 101 returned for action OPENEX
debug   - ProcessRequest(22): received OPEN on name BDSRV
debug   - SProxyDbCnct(0): dropping an obsolete connection to powerdesigner-dsn
warning - SProxyDbCnct(0): failed to connect with DSN=powerdesigner-dsn;UID=usrPowerDesigner
error   - OdbcError(0): [28000] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'usrPowerDesigner'.
error   - ProcessRequest: invalid DB connection
