The following error occurs when you try to import data from a BW connection / query in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• An error occurred in the BW service: GC overhead limit exceeded.

The Tomcat configuration memory is incorrect and affects data acquisition via the SAP Analytics Cloud Agent.

Increase the maximum memory pool parameter of Apache Tomcat:

  JConsole uses the extensive instrumentation of the Java Virtual Machine (Java VM) to provide information about the performance and resource consumption of applications running on the Java platform.
• Jvisualvm: Java VisualVM is a tool that provides a visual interface for viewing detailed information about Java applications while they are running on a Java Virtual Machine (JVM), and for troubleshooting and profiling these applications.

NOTE: Since Jvisualvm is third-party tool, SAP does cannot provide any support when using it.
