2450696 - Msg 18374 sp_config_rep_agent Database is not configured to use Replication Agent - SRS

Symptom

  • sp_configure "enable rep agent threads" displays its run value is 1
  • Try to enable the rep agent and get an error:
    sp_config_rep_agent PDB,'enable','PRS','PRS_ra', 'sybase'
    go
    Msg 18374, Level 16, State 1:Server 'PRS', Procedure 'sp_config_rep_agent', Line 176:Database 'PDB' is not configured to use Replication Agent.
    Run sp_config_rep_agent without parameters to see a list of databases that use Replication Agent.
    Use the ENABLE option of sp_config_rep_agent to configure a database to use this feature.(1 row affected)(return status = 1)
