2451063 - Error "Cannot create SecureStore" "hdbnsutil terminated with error: signal 11" while upgrading to HANA SPS 12 Rev122.08

Symptom

The upgrade to HANA SPS 12 Rev 122.08 fails. Upgrade log files hdblcm.log and hdbupd.log show following errors:

INFO: Summary of critical errors
ERR : Upgrade failed
ERR : error upgrading
ERR : Cannot create SecureStore
INFO: Command line is: /usr/sap/<sid>/HDB00/exe/hdbnsutil -createSecureStore
ERR : Program /usr/sap/<sid>/HDB00/exe/hdbnsutil terminated with error: signal 11
INFO: Switching back to root user.
ERR : /usr/sap/<sid>/HDB00/exe/hdbnsutil call failed
