2451302 - Define HTTP Connectivity ICM Intern authorization error - SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Symptom

  • During Infrastructure Preparation step 2.1 Define HTTP Connectivity, there is an error with the ICM for Internal Web Service Access. Test Connectivity result on error and the configuration cannot be saved

Error when saving

ICM for intern. Web Serv. access: logical port check failed - CO_DIAG_WILY_WS_MANAGED_SETUP using http://<hava_host>:<port>

SoapFaultCode:5 Authentication failed. For details see log entry logID=<logID> in security log.

  • Testing the web service CO_DIAG_WILY_WS_MANAGED_SETUP in transaction SOAMANAGER and it throws an authorization error (HTTP 401):

Web service ping failed (RC=401). Service Ping ERROR: Unauthorized
