Symptom
- Java hangs/goes down while accessing user details for the users with large number of group assignment using LDAP as datasource.
- Outofmemory occurs with error "Exception occured while retrieve red threads; java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space ".
- Leak suspect report after analyzing heap dump OOM.hrpof shows :<nnn> instances of "iaik.security.ssl.SSLTransport", loaded by "library:mail-activation-iaik" occupy <xxx> (yy%) bytes.
- Default traces contains
java.lang.ThreadDeath
at java.lang.Thread.stop(Thread.java:858)
at com.sap.security.core.persistence.datasource.imp.LDAPDataSourceConnectionPool.newConnection(LDAPDataSourceConnectionPool.java:835)
at com.sap.security.core.persistence.datasource.imp.LDAPDataSourceCo.."
- LDAP servers are working fine.
