2452329 - ISQL 32-bit no longer works on Redhat 7 and later after installing Adaptive Server Enterprise - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • When running isql, one of the following errors is returned:
    "isql: not found (No such file or directory)"
    "isql: error while loading shared libraries: libnsl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
  • Running ldd on isql returns the following error:
    "not a dynamic executable"

  • Using 64-bit version of isql, isql64, works
