2452537 - Running sp_fixindex and create temporary table concurrently cause stacktrace in tempdb

Symptom

  • Running sp_fixindex in tempdb to reclaim space from system tables
  • When user creating temporay table at the same time, the user connection stacktrace and holding a lock.
  • The following messages reported in errorlog:

    server  dbcc dbrepair: Clustered index restored for tempdb..syscomments.
