2452616 - 'Please report the following error to your system administrator' error message - Next steps

Sometimes a user could receive an error message such as:

"Please report the following error to your system administrator:" [#error]

In order to identify the true error message with all details about it, the following setting should be enabled:

1. Navigate to System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > LMS_ADMIN
2. Find the line: reportStackTraceToUser=false
3. Change to reportStackTraceToUser=true
4. Click on 'Apply Changes' button.

After changing this, when replicating the behavior again, the full error will be seen. Please look for a "Caused by" or the first part of the error to search for articles that might provide a reason/resolution for the error. Please provide this full error to SAP Support if there is no Knowledge Base Article.
