Symptom

  • Backend does not appear when importing application from SAPUI5 ABAP Repository in SAP Web IDE.
  • No systems appear in the dropdown list when importing application from SAPUI5 ABAP Repository.
  • Cannot import SAPUI5 ABAP Repository application.

Very similar case is described in the KBA 2861511. The difference is the direction: the scenario there goes into ABAP backend from Web IDE!
