2453570 - HANA error "User <sid>adm has wrong id '1234' (expected 5678)" following change of UID or GID of <sid>adm user

Symptom

Note: Do not change the UID/GID of user <sid>adm and <sid>crypt, as it may cause inconsistencies and, in the worst case, HANA may fail to start. If you see the exact same error described in this KBA, you may follow the solutions below.

User ID and Group ID properties are stored in the shared file system, available to all HANA hosts.  If these are changed manually on OS level, the cfg file has to be adapated.

If the cfg file is not updated errors when using hdblcm or cockpit could be encountered e.g.: "Unauthorized" or "User <sid>adm has wrong id '1234' (expected 5678)!"
