• Can we migrate an instance from one Data Center to another? For example I want to move my production instance from DCxx to DCxx.
• Can we migrate a test instance from the production environment to the preview environment?
• Is there a cost involved in moving our instance from one Data Center to another or to change which tenants will receive early test release?

• SF instances migration from one Data Centre to another OR migration of instances from one environment to another will incur cost as part of this Migration Service SKU: 50157446.
• Account Executive/ Customer Support Manager / Customer Engagement Executive should work with SAP Services Team to create the scope document for booking the Services Order.
• While reaching out to Initial Response Team for Migration request do provide below information to quickly process the request.

Case 1: SF Instances movement from one DC to another DC

Case 2: SF Instance migration within the same DC (for example Test tenant on Production -> Test tenant on Preview or Early Test Instance environment)

Note: Development/Sandbox tenant on Production environment cannot be migrated to Preview. This migration case is only applicable for a eligible test instance to be migrated to Preview environment.

• DC Migration delivery will generally start 6-9 weeks after a service order has been booked and may take an additional 3-6 weeks for all instances to be migrated to the target DC.
• Preview migrations can be scheduled 2-3 weeks after a Services Order has been booked and will be completed over four days.
