2453971 - jConnect: Upgrade converting characters into server's charset - SDK for SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Error handling in procedure, if the insert/update fails, the transaction will be hanging there from the calling procedure.
  • Insert failed in procedure with error  2402 which left the transaction open and caused severe locking/blocking.
  • Actual error is: Error converting characters into server's character set. Some character(s) could not be converted.
