2453986 - Error saying status is not valid in Application Status set when importing job requisition XML - Recruiting

The error message "*status name* is not a valid status in Application Status Set "*application status set name*". Please note that the status name has to match exactly the name of the status in the Application Status Set" shows up when a user imports job requisition XML template in provisioning.

The validation check has been introduced. If the customer uploads a Job Requisition template via Provisioning, the system will check the names of the statuses that are linked with the field permission under <application-status-config> section. A wrongly typed status name will result in this error message.

1. Status name is case-sensitive and should match how it is configured in the application status set as well as on the job requisition XML template

2. Make sure that:

• There are no spaces from Provisioning > Applicant status configuration > Status set > Status name > check Name of Status
• There are no spaces from Provisioning > Applicant status configuration > Edit Base (can be found in the upper left corner) > Select status name and verify

3. There could be a hidden character that is not showing in UI or in XML application/program you are using. Download the XML of the job requisition template and open the file using WordPad. You should see the special character from here. Remove special character associated with the status.
