Symptom

Job Information incremental Import, using DELETE Operator results in error: 'A matching record does not exist in system. So delete operation cannot be performed.'

Cause

Sequence number is blank in the column of the Job Information import file. Sequence number is a required field when using the DELETE operation.

Resolution

1. Add the sequence number of the record you want to delete.

2. To know the sequence number of the record you want to delete you need to create an AdHoc report > Person and Employment Export Report > Employee Job Info > Check all the columns in the Employee Job Info and generate the report.
