2455674 - Error launching office client: Epm add in has not been initialized after1000milliseconds - BPC NW

Symptom

  • When the user launch EPM Office Add-in Excel, he receives the following error:

"Error launching office client: Epm add in has not been initialized after1000milliseconds" while opening a BPF link.

  • After resetting IE options, he receives another error:

Error launching office client: epm add in has not been initialized after10000milliseconds.
Error Launching office client: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)).
