2456459 - How to Return Inactive and Active Items in Item Status Reports in LMS

This KBA covers how to set the filter for Administrator versions of different Item Status reports in the LMS

• Learning Management System (LMS)

• The Learning Report Admin is running various Item Status Reports and only active or most recent revision version of the reports are returning
• This includes the Item Status, Online Item Status and Curriculum Item Status reports

The Item filter needs to be utilized in order to select both Active and Inactive Items

Important Note:

• Reports that Users can run from the User LMS including Item Status reports do not have access to Inactive Items so it is not possible for users to return item status reports for inactive revision versions of a course

1. Login to Learning Admin
2. Navigate to Reports > Item Status (CSV)
3. Click the blue filter icon next to Item ID

4. Click the "Both" radio button next to Item Status

5. Search for the Item ID
6. Select both Revisions of the Item and click "Add to Filter" > "Submit Filter"

7. Run the report
8. Note that it shows all of the completions now
