2456807 - Association GO to FO with parent as event reason

You want to create an association between a Custom Foundation Object (child) and a Legacy Foundation Object (parent).

This association is from sub event reason to event reason and it is not working.

You followed steps in KBA: "2285593 - Adding an Association from Custom Foundation Object to a Legacy Foundation Object (GO to FO) - Employee Central"

This is not possible, there is no field for eventReason in the succession data model and it is a hard coded field.
Also event-reason field is not part of the employmentDetails or terminationDetails.

This only can be made in concurrent employment, for other cases you have two options:

1. Make a full list of sub reasons when you choose the event reason

2. Create an enhancement ticket through the community portal, requesting that association
   between custom objects and event reason foundation objects are made possible.
