2457048 - Colours in Report Charts on HTML5 Home Page

You have created a report and are displaying it as a chart. When you add this report chart to the HTML5 home page, you notice that the colours in the home tile are different than the ones in the report view.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Log on and go to your Home page.
2. Check the respective report tile. Let us assume that this is a Line chart with 2 key figures. The first line is blue, the second line is green.
3. Click into the report chart to open the report.
4. In the new window, you will see that the first line is green and the second one blue.

The home tile and the report view work on different infrastructures, which causes this difference in behaviour.

Unfortunately no short-term solution is possible to adjust this, however we have added this to our backlog for a future release.

In the meantime, you can maximize the report tile on the home page. This will give you more settings to choose from and you can display the legend for this tile. That way, you can see which colour stands for which key figure to avoid confusion.
