2457157 - Error: "Input string was not in a correct format" when connecting to HANA in Analysis for Office

The error below is occurring when connecting from Analysis for Office to HANA system via OLAP connection defined in BI platform (CMC):

>> "Input string was not in a correct format"

SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office

In CMC, the server field of the OLAP connection to HANA system is invalid.

Check if there is an additional character at the end of the HANA host in the OLAP connection, like for example the slash shown in the screenshot below:

In case there is additional character, remove it as shown below:
