Symptom
This article provides information on how to configure Onboarding 1.0 notifications to send messages to multiple recipients.
- Trigger an Onboarding e-mail notification to multiple recipients that is not defined in the system
- Send carbon copy of the Onboarding e-mail notification to group of recipient
- Send to an external e-mail that is mapped in a key
- Send a copy of the e-mail to an external e-mail domain
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0
Resolution
For Live Customer(s), Implementation Partner(s), and Consultant(s)
- Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Onboarding 1.0 > Notifications
- Locate the Notification Template to configure
- Select the Notification Template and Edit button will appear in the Tool Bar
- Click the Edit button
- Edit Notifications pop-up form will appear
- Click Recipient tab
- Select Data Driven Notification in one of the recipient fields below.
a. Specify Notification Recipient - The e-mail assigned to this will be included in the 'To' box of the message
b. Specify Notification CC Recipient - The e-mail assigned to this will be included in the 'CC' box of the message - Enter the email address
- Click Update and Apply to reflect the changes
Note
- If multiple recipients should receive the notification message, add semicolon ';' at the end of every e-mail to separate e-mail accounts (e.g. 'johndoe@test.com;janedoe@test.com')
- Remove spaces if multiple e-mail address accounts use, the notification message will not be received by the expected recipient
- For multiple Named Users, add semicolon ';' to separate and use the following format: '{user:HiringManager, objattr=email};{user:Recruiter, objattr=email}'
