SAP BusinessObjects Cloud gives "An error occurred in Connection Server service: Table 'information_schema.columns' doesn't exist"

• SAP BusinessObjects Cloud 2017.7.0 and later

1. Connect to your SAP BusinessObjects Cloud tenant
2. From the Main Menu click "Create > Model"
3. Click "Use a datasource" and click "SQL Databases"
• Connection Type: MySQL 5
• Connection Name: Create New Connection
• Connection Name: <ConnectionName>
• Server: <Your MYSQL4 Server>:<Port>
• Database: <Your Database>
• User Name: <Your User>
• Password: <Your Password>
4. Attempt to add any table
5. Notice the error

SAP BusinessObjects Cloud requires MYSQL version 5

MYSQL version 4 worked previously even though it was unsupported per System Requirements and Technical Prerequisites

Upgrade your MYSQL system to version 5 or higher or switch from a MYSQL4 to MYSQL5 system
