2458733 - Opportunity History Snapshot Data Source Cannot Be Used For New Join

You try to create a new joined data source with the Opportunity History Snapshot data source and it is not available.

Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Business Analytics work center

2.  Design Data Sources view

3. Click on New and Joined Data Source

4. Click on Add Data Source and search for data source Opportunity History Snapshot (technical ID CRMOPPHHB)

You will see the message No search results.

The data source Opportunity History Snapshot (CRMOPPHHB) is using a temporal join type "Based on validity time stamps", therefore the join is not supported from analytics framework.

This is the expected system behaviour. It works as designed.

 

You can use the data source Opportunity History Snapshot for new combined data sources.

Or as an alternative you can use the data source Opportunity History (CODOPPHHB) for new joined data sources.
