2458820 - ODBC SQL Server Driver: Access Denied during system copy

Symptom

During the system copy - Target System Installation option, SWPM fails with the following error message:

Errors when executing sql command: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Access denied. 

In sapinst_dev.log file you can find the following entry:

ERROR      2017-04-12 06:45:36.625 (DOMAIN\s0madm) [D:/depot/bas/749_REL/bc_749_REL/src/ins/SAPINST/impl/src/dbmodmss/iaxmbcom.cpp:118] id=dbmodmssql.odbcdll.sql errno=MDB-05053 CMssLogger::logMessage
Errors when executing sql command: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Access denied.
 <p> SOLUTION: If this message is displayed as a warning, you can ignore it. If this is an error, contact SAP support. </p>
