Symptom

Kindly clarify the below information to process incidents for Master Data Issues in Foundation.

In case of unexpected system behaviour or error message:

  • Is this issue occurring in Test system or Production system.
  • Work center and View in which the issue occurs.
  • Name and ID of the Accounts/ Contacts/ Suppliers/ Materials/ Services.
  • Is the issue occurring with the Extension fields or PDI fields.
  • Exact steps on how to reproduce the issue.
  • In case an error message occurs, provide complete error message and the action that triggered the error message.
  • What were the changes that were performed?
  • What is the actual result?
  • What is the expected result?
  • Is this a general issue? If the issue occurs for a specific user, provide the user ID.
  • If the error triggers after Save, provide permission to reproduce the scenario by performing Save.
  • Relevant error screenshot if any.

In case of dump:

  • Is this issue occurring in Test system or Production system.
  • Work center and View in which the issue occurs.
  • Name and ID of the Accounts/ Contacts/ Suppliers/ Materials/ Services.
  • Exact steps on how to reproduce the issue.
  • If the dump triggers after Save, provide permission to reproduce the scenario by performing Save.
