2459033 - New Lines - Planning Data - Cannot select Hierarchy Node

• User is calling Value Help for planning data (new lines in crosstab) to enter new planning data manually.
• Value Help (F4 help) does not show Option Buttons for Hierarchy Nodes. Hierarchy Nodes can't be chosen.

This is current intended behavior in AO. As described in SAP Note 2303212: only hierarchy leaves are allowed for selection, hierarchy nodes are not. Because the distribution on hierarchy nodes along the children (leaves) is not available.

Workaround:

Please consider to deactivate the settings below in Hierarchy Attributes(T-code: RSH1) to use the leaf in the new lines. But, please note that this is a different scenario than the feature described in the Symptom.
