2459154 - 'Show on Profile' option in Comments portlet of candidate application - Recruiting Management

In the Comments portlet of a candidate application, when you Add a comment you can find a checkbox called "Show on profile".

1. In the candidate application, add a comment and enable the option "Show on profile".

2. Save the details.
3. View the profile of the candidate. The comments will show up in the candidate profile "Comments" section.

If the 'comments' field is configured in the Candidate Application template as well as the Candidate profile template, then it is an expected behavior by design that the "Show on profile" option will appear in the Comments portlet in the application page.

If you want to disable the "Show on profile" option in the application, you will have to remove the "comments" field in either of the templates. If the "comments" field is removed from the Candidate Profile template, the option to show the application comments in the profile, will not come up.
