2459254 - CT_CLOSE connection is being managed by ASTC; not closing - ASE

Symptom

  • The following error is reported in the ASE error log:

server  CT_CLOSE: connection 833af7d0 is being managed by ASTC; not closing

  • Server was upgraded from 119.2 to 15.7 SP138
  • Connections that are reporting CT_CLOSE use Adaptive Server Transaction Coordinator (ASTC)
  • Application uses XP_SERVER to connect to Oracle database to retrieve data
