2459656 - Broadcast Start Time in "Next Run" Wrong

Symptom

You notice that the Start Time of broadcasts differs between the Next Run column and the Details tab.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Business Analytics, view Broadcasts.
  2. Mark a broadcast and compare the Start Time in the Next Run column and in the Details tab underneath the broadcast list.
  3. The 2 times differ. For example, Next Run may show the time 11am, whereas the Details tab shows 10am.

You set up this broadcast with the start time as 10am (in this example), so you would expect the same time to be reflected under Next Run.

Cause

The broadcast was created during a time when the daylight saving time was not active, however now, the daylight saving time is applied. It is the current behaviour that broadcasts will start at the time they were scheduled initially, with the daylight saving changes being applied on top of this initial time.

So in this example, the broadcast was initially set to 10am (without daylight saving time). Once daylight saving time is applied however, this becomes 11am.

Resolution

At this point in time, there is no option to automatically change the start times of (several) broadcasts. You can change the start time manually if required.
