2459833 - DSI ERROR #13045 Failed to connect to server 'HANADB' - SRS

Symptom

  • Heterogeneous Replication from Oracle to HANA.
     
  • After changing maintenance user's password in HANADB, DSI connection went down with the following errors:
     
    • Message from server: Message: 10, State 0, Severity 5 -- '[ connection ][ HANADB ] odbcHdbConnection::Open(HANDB01T:30015)
      [SAP AG][LIBODBCHDB SO][HDBODBC] General error;10 authentication failed'.
       
    • ERROR #13045 DSI(179 HANADB.HANADB) - /generic/useful/cm.c(5056)
              Failed to connect to server 'HANADB' as user '<maintenance user>'. See CT-Lib and/or server error messages for more information.
              The DSI thread for database 'HANADB.HANADB' is shutdown
