2459932 - HTTP 403 error when trying to connect to a SMP Server using a SAML response from an IdP via a browser

Symptom

  • User is accessing SMP via a browser https://SMP.SERVER:8081/ and seeing the following error in the browser:

     HTTP error 403: Access to the specfic resource has been forbidden

  • The SMP server log shows:

    2017 04 14 14:20:47#0-400#WARN#com.sap.mobile.platform.server.foundation.security.saml.impl.SAML2SPSSOController###http-bio-8081-exec-347a0c6f2-d8f6-4fce-b37c-15731632a492#####No IDP name in session
