2460155 - Why are numeric formats from a universe query not applied in Microsoft Office through Live Office add-in?

Symptom

  • At universe level, if the format of an object is set as a percentage (with the character „%”) or as a currency (with the character e.g. "$"), the same object format is ignored in Live Office.
  • In Live Office the character e.g. „%” or "$" will be not visible.
