2460538 - BBP_COBL_47A with inconsistent field VBTYP (VBTYPL) in S/4 Hana System

Symptom

  • Some customers seem to receive inconsistencies regarding SRM integration with S/4 system, encountering dumps due to incompatibility between tables BBP_COBL_47A in S/4 and BBPCOBL1_470 in SRM due to different lengths between Component Type field VBTYP in SRM (with 1 Char) and S/4 (with 4 Char). Besides, this Component Type field appears as VBTYPL in BBP_COBL_47A.
  • Error "Document 0 does not exist" might be raised when processing purchasing documents in SRM.
