2460656 - Error Message: “Enter a Different User ID as this one Already Exists”, While Migrating Social Media User Profiles

Symptom

Your requirement is to migrate the Social Media User Profiles for Individual Customers, but you receive the below error during Simulation:

Enter a different user ID as this one already exists

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center
  2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview
  3. Search and Open the activity Migration of Social Media User Profiles
  4. Choose Migrate social media user profiles using the migration tool
  5. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File
  6. You receive the error message mentioned in the Simulation step

Cause

Individual Customer already has a record with social media profile information. You may find the existing social media profile in the Social Profiles tab in Individual Customer.

Resolution

You cannot add duplicate information for Social Profile.
