2460789 - Unable to activate SSL connection for SDI Data Provisioning agent - SAP HANA smart data integration

Symptom

  • Data Provisioning Agent has been configured for SSL based on the documentation Enable SSL on an Existing Data Provisioning Agent
  • The SQL statement (ALTER AGENT "agent_name" ENABLE SSL;) is running more than 15 minutes and then breaks up with internal error, or with the following error:
    • Could not execute 'ALTER AGENT "agent_name" ENABLE SSL;'
    • SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Cannot connect to agent: <agent_name> at <agent_host>:5050
    • Context: Failed to connect to <agent_name> at <agent_host>. exception 300013: SSL handshake failed: Channel closed during handshake;
