Cause

Per the Template ID to Trigger Map to Receiver Map, this notification occurs when a user is reassigned an item.

Resolution

The ReassignStudentComponentNotification notification is triggered when the following cases occur:

  • A user has downloaded content for Offline Player use. Upon an admin updating the content and triggering the Reassignment Wizard and reassigning the item, the notification is triggered.
  • A user has started the content of an item. Upon an admin updating the content and triggering the Reassignment Wizard and reassigning the item, the notification is triggered.

To prevent the notification from being sent out you can disable the template by following steps in KBA: 2440341.
