2462000 - attached document can not be opened even all MIMEs are correctly maintained

Symptom

A file is attached to a CRM transaction/product/object or task.

You have done the configuration for the MIME types (tx OAD2) and the file is attached successfully.

You can see that the file extension is saved correctly.

But when you try to open and to save it – it is saved without file extension.
