Symptom

  • When trying to remove a backup ID server from the primary ID server in SAP Replication Server (SRS) the following errors are reported:

Msg 91, Level 12, State 0:
Server 'ServerName':
Failed to execute the 'rs_idserver_event' RPC to the remote site.

Message: 14021, State 0, Severity 12 -- 'Invalid login attempted by user '''

  • Then when trying to configure a new backup ID server:

Message: 11069, State 0, Severity 12 -- 'unique key violation.'
