2462829 - ESI - Line feed characters (#xA) in SOAP envelope causing parsing errors

Symptom

The SOAP message that an SAP system generates contains line feeds. These line feeds are represented as '#xA' in the base64 encoded representation of the XML.

An external party that receives the SOAP message from SAP cannot parse the XML received in the SOAP envelope because of these extra line feed characters.
