2462856 - After extended -iqmc, -iqtc, -iqlm, IQ fails to start

Symptom

  • After extended -iqmc, -iqtc, -iqlm to higher value, IQ fails to start with the following error message in srvlog and stderr:

    Exception Thrown from oslib/hos_mem.cxx:578, Err# 1, tid 26 origtid 26
    O/S Err#: 0, ErrID: 517 (hos_memexception); SQLCode: -1006042, SQLState: 'QBA42', Severity: 14
    [20280]: All available virtual memory has been used; allocation cancelled:[Extra info: 67112959]
  • There is no any IQ start message at the same time in iqmsg.

  • After setting all the memory configuration back to the old value, IQ started normally.
