Consider candidates marked as hired in last [ ] weeks only setting (under Admin Center > Recruiting > Manage Recruiting Settings) is used to run the schedule job External to Internal Candidate Profile Conversion for the first time. The schedule job will look for candidates who got hired in last those (say 5) weeks and convert their external profile into internal profile.

After that schedule job start date will be taken into consideration to get the numer of hired candidates.

Suppose schedule job start date is 21-Mar-2017 then system will look for all those candidates who got hired from 21-Mar-2017 till today
