2463474 - SUM PREP_INPUT/DBQUERY_PRE error: Password for 'sapsso' does not work - SAP ASE for Business Suite

Symptom

  • You are running SAP applications on SAP ASE database.
  • You use SUM 1.0 SP19 PL5 to upgrade/migrate existing SAP ERP/Solution Manager systems. You find SUM phase PREP_INPUT/DBQUERY_PRE to fail with the following error while executing SYBCONCHECKSSO.TSQL script:

ERROR:  'Password for 'sapsso' does not work, please re-enter'.  The password is validated via isql

               EXECUTING /xxxxxx/xxxxxxx/SUM/abap/bin_749/SAPuptool execdb ../var/SYBCONCHECKSSO.TSQL

               Logging to '/xxxxx/xxxxxxx//SUM/abap/log/SYBCONCHECKSSO.LOG'

               *** FATAL: Got signal 'SIGSEGV' (11)! Please contact the SAP support!

               SAPup> Process with PID 17659 terminated with status -11 at 20170420134628!
