2463475 - Upload of Territory Rules Using Between Operators does not Work

Symptom

You have made the upload of Territory Rules from MS Excel using the Between operators <[> and <]> but when the upload is complete the values inside the operators are deleted.

Reproducing the Issue

Suppose you have a template for territory rules and on the Postal Code column you have multiple values, including values with the Between operator.

  1. Go to Administrator work center;
  2. Go to Sales and Marketing view;
  3. Click on Maintain Territory Rules;
  4. Click on Upload;
  5. Select the template;
  6. Upload is succesfully completed, however, the values in the Between operators for Postal Code are deleted.

Cause

This is the expected system behavior.

Resolution

When multiple Between operators are used, the system does not allow you to edit them anymore, for that reason, the values are not shown.

However, if you click on Donwload, to get a new MS Excel file with the current rules, you can see that the values have not been deleted.

In other words, the rules are working and the values inside the Between operators will work just fine.
