2464851 - CS15 does not display material master material group (MARA-MATKL); material group in CS15 is read from BOM item purchasing data (RC29P-MATKL) for non-stock (N) items

Symptom

  • In CS15, the material group from the material master (MARA-MATKL) is not shown.
  • A material group appears in CS15 only when it is maintained on the BOM item’s purchasing data (RC29P-MATKL).
  • The BOM item must be non-stock (item category N); other item categories do not support maintaining a material group and therefore show nothing in CS
