2464862 - SAML 2.0: No entity in with ID <ID> in client <client_number> found

Symptom

When performing SAML 2.0 authentication (either by one of the supported SP-initiated or IDP-initiated flows, or by SAML2 Bearer Assertions on relases before SAP S/4HANA 2020), it fails.

The following the error message can be seen in the SAML 2.0 traces (KBA 2960670):

  • SAML20 CX_SAML20_CORE: No entity in with ID <ID> in client <client_number> found.
